Hi there, If you are truly concerned with the low INR of 1.8 and your past leg issues, then you could always go to a local hospital for a Lovenox shot to protect you immediately until you get your INR up over the next few days. I do agree that taking 6mg today will get the ball rolling towards...

My doctors appreciated that I had written down on my daily agenda my HR and BP as well as any 'episodes' for further reference or discussion. Hang in there.

Hi, my post op HR was just like yours and freaked me out, so I asked for Metoprolol to slow things down while the heart remodels itself. One night while in hospital (7th or 8th day) I woke in the middle of the night with a HR of 170.....doc gave me Sotalol and the HR calmed down again... Awful...

Good for you ! Do whatever you feel comfortable with and don't let anyone get you freaked out for nothing.

Yay---Coaguchek :) I order 24 test strips for the year , and test every 2-3 weeks. You should be fine, unless your INR needs adjusting, then you may need more frequent testing. Enjoy !
