Tired and not sleeping well after auortic valve replalcerment and by pass

I would say yes. It's only been a couple of weeks and this recovery can take months. Some of us got through it pretty quickly while some took almost a year. Give you body time; it's been hit by a truck!

    Cooker's Throwdown Friday ... 5-15-15

Thanks Steve, I'm not dropping VR.org. I am incredibly busy and it's just time to pass the baton. Bob will do a great job in whatever he does with this group. I really hope no one feels like I am or have abandoned them. That's not the case. Just going to hang out with Letterman awhile.

    Cooker's Throwdown Friday ... 5-15-15

Sounds like that may be a plan Bob.... I believe the Throwdown ran it's course year before last... I think a general forum that covers it all might be something that that will work. Lifters, runners, walkers, swimmers the list goes on and on....

    Cooker's Throwdown Friday ... 5-8-15

I'm up a 1/2 pound from last week. Long hours, eating late and on the run have not helped. Honestly no change in attitude from last week. I'm just trying to stay somewhat mindful of my diet. I'm healing up and see the surgeon Friday. I do not think he will release me but slow and steady...

In a nut shell Scarsdale for me is fruit salad and wheat toast for breakfast, big salad for lunch and a meat and veggies for dinner. No between meal snacking.

    Cooker's Throwdown Friday .... 4-10-15

Greetings Throwdowners, I hope this finds you well. I have dropped 8.5 pounds this week so I know there must have been fluid that needed to come off. DW and I also started Scarsdale on Monday so that has helped as well. I'm so happy to see Wise and Duffey back!!! Sometimes we just need a...
