Not bad. Shoulder hurts, and I've been icing it, but for pain meds, I'm taking nothing more than Acetaminophen, because all the opioid pain meds make me feel yucky. They say it will get better now that the chest tube is out.

1.5 and rising. The surgeon recommends eating foods containing vitamin K while in the hospital and getting it checked daily, so I had some broccoli yesterday.

Just got my chest tube out — might go home tomorrow.

It seems to be related to allergies for me -- that is, when the pollen count is high, I'm more likely to get a migraine. Also, I sometimes get them when I'm about to get a cold.

I do have BAV, but do not currently have aortic aneurysm, knock on wood. I do have severe regurgitation and an enlarged left ventricle, which was the deciding factor for surgery.
