Diagnosed with Aortic valve stenosis & 3rd degree heart block in 2002. Had prosthetic porcine valve & dual lead pacemaker implanted. Went into congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation in 2015 when prosthetic valve failed. Had mechanical valve implanted this time.
Cycling, kayaking, snowshoeing, downhill skiing (Ski Patroller for 28 years), cross country skiing & pistol target shooting.
