I had rheumatic fever when I was 7 years old, which led to endocarditis and eventually aortic regurgitation. I have been following up with cardiology ever since. At the age of 29, a cardiac MRI revealed an increased end-diastolic volume of the LV, which meets the criteria for surgical intervention. I have never had any symptoms except for PVCs.
