I have been monitoring my valve for about 10 years because I had a aneurysm. When I had my echo this year my aneurysm was at a 4.9. I was also having extremely high BP, heart palpitations, chest pain, and right before my surgery I went numb down the left side of my body.

- I had my bicuspid aortic valve replace with a on-x valve. While the surgeon was in there he noticed that I had a ASD the size of a quarter (I had no idea) that was fixed as well.
