Bicuspid aortic valve. Increased murmur noticed during routine physical 12/04. Follow-up echo and catheterization showed severe stenosis. Had been completely asymptomatic, even when very active. Bovine pericardial valve replacement and graft of ascending aorta performed in May, 2005 (see "Surgery" above).
Reading. Playing squash. Running. Hanging out with family. Daily walks with incredible wife, Nancy.
Since retirement (March 1, 2018), increased my involvement with volunteer activities and writing.
