No symptoms, reasonable fit and definitely healthy. Bicuspid aorta valve found 12 years ago. Subsequently enlarged aortic root noticed with echo scans. Aortic root 5.3 cm. Was 5.8 in echo Sept 2012, just turned 59 so cardiologist set operation request in motion.
