Diagnosed 1999 with Cardiomyopathy- Medical regime.
2006 Biventricular Pacer/ICD Replacement 2012.
2014 Septicemia as a result of bad gall bladder surgery - heart severely damaged with severe mitral valve regurgitation.
2015 Unable to have open heart surgery as heart to weak and unsuitable for transplant because of cancer.
Sept 2015 was offered the opportunity for a Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement - only 6th in World and 1st in Australia.
So far valve excellent but heart is taking its time catching up.
