BAV discovered ~2004 by PCP/GP. Super-active athlete, sidelined from volleyball since Dec. 2009 with a torn Achilles tendon, no cardiac symptoms until ~Oct. 2010 (then only mild ones).

- BAVR Dec. 1 2010. Also a small "tuck" on my AR, and a repair -- Dacron "Simplici-T" ring -- on my MV.

- Warfarin (~5mg/d, INR 2.5-3.0) & Metoprolol (25mgx2/d), both only for 3 months post-op.

AVR (Medtronics Hancock II) Dec. 1 2010 w/ Dr. C.M. Feindel at UHN aka Toronto General. Also a "tuck" on the Aortic root, and a (Dacron) Medtronics Simplici-T ring on my MV. I did ACT for 3 months for the ring, and Metoprolol (BB) for 3 months for A-fib.
