CHD-born with mild/moderate aortic stenosis which became moderate/severe in my early twenties and then severe enough for an aortic valve replacement at age 27. I also had a slight aneurysm on my aortic root, but they did not repair that this time around.
I was a nationally ranked wrestler in HS as well as a black belt in karate. I always pushed my limits as far as CHD goes, I probably gave my cardiologist "heart attacks" growing up. Pre-operation I enjoyed cardio kickboxing and zumba classes, weight
