Heart murmur for 50 years
I walk 3 miles a day. I am an outdoor person. I have few symptoms. I found out in May 2009 that I need the replacement, and that my condition is severe. I am VERY gradually getting used to the idea.

- I took no meds for 70+ years. After surgery I took metaprolol and digoxin and iron for anemia. Digoxin was stopped, but Ramipril ace-inhibitor and statin drug added.
