Moderate stenosis and mild insufficiency increasing slowly since birth due to fused leaflet bicuspid aortic valve. Surgery date: Nov 5, 2013.
AVR with tissue valve; Repair 5.3cm aneurysm in proximal arch with Dacron graft.
Status: still alive, life back to normal.
Medications
75mg (3x25mg) metoprolol ER once daily. 81mg aspirin. 40mg Atorvastatin, even though my cholesterol levels are well under 200. I HIGHLY recommend melatonin to help with metropolol/propranolol-related sleep issues when first starting.
