I had my first echo cardiogram about 15 years ago. During this time the annual echos revealed moderate aortic stenosis. I was unaware of any symptoms and continued a vigorous exercise regimen, including running marathons.
Several months ago I noticed a severe decrease in my exercise tolerance. A recent echo showed a progression from moderate to severe valve problems.

I am avid exercise enthusiast. My prime interest is running. In addition I ride bicycles and play tennis.
A newer pastime for me is geocaching which is a high tech treasure hunt.
