Father died due to consequences of mitral valve prolapse. In 2006, I was diagnosed with MVR too, following tests done due to Atrial Fibrillation. In 2009, a chronic abscess beneath one of my molars resulted in bacterial endocarditis, followed by Mitral Valve Replacement.
